Ballarat Kart Club is based at Haddon, a short drive from Ballarat, and races on an 801-metre bitumen circuit in Victoria's central goldfields. The volunteer-run club caters to everyone from beginners to championship competitors, hosting regular Sunday race meetings, rounds of the Victorian Championship Series (VCS), and 4SS State Trophy events on the annual calendar. Come-and-try days using club-owned karts are available for newcomers, and the Junior Sprockets program introduces children aged 6–12 to the sport in a structured, safe environment. Racing classes include Cadet, KA3, TAG 125, and 4SS categories, so there is a competitive home for karters at every stage. New members receive a comprehensive Club Handbook and Getting Started Guide to ease the transition into club racing.
