About Broadford Speedway
Broadford Speedway is the home of the Speedway Sidecar Riders Association of Victoria (SSRAV), running motorcycle speedway on a dirt oval at the State Motorcycle Sports Complex near Broadford, around 88 km north of Melbourne. This is dirt-track solo and sidecar speedway โ short, fast, sideways racing โ rather than sealed-circuit road racing. The club holds regular practice and club days, generally on the second Sunday of the month from September through to April/May, which gives riders genuine public access to get on the track; spectators come to watch the racing.
