About Central West 4WD Park
Central West 4WD Park is a 1,500-acre privately operated off-road property on Hill End Road near Mudgee (Avisford), in the heart of NSW. With more than 50 mapped tracks ranging from easy family-friendly runs to seriously challenging terrain, it is one of the most comprehensive 4WD parks in the central west. The property sits alongside the Meroo River and is peppered with historic gold-mining heritage sites, adding genuine character to every visit. Clean flushing toilets and hot showers are included in the nightly rate — a rare standard for a park of this type. Whether you come for a Saturday day trip or a full weekend of camping and wheeling, visitors consistently describe the variety, the welcoming owners, and the quality of the setting as unlike anything else available in the region. This is strictly a 4WD-only venue: no motorbikes or ATVs are permitted.
