About Cockburn International Kartway
Cockburn International Kartway is the home of the Tiger Kart Club, a membership-based karting club at Henderson, south of Perth. Formed in 1958, Tiger Kart Club is the largest kart club in Western Australia, and this is a venue where members race their own karts rather than an arrive-and-drive hire track. The circuit is 1,070 metres long and 8 metres wide, and can run clockwise or anti-clockwise across 10 different configurations, giving competitors plenty of variety. The club runs monthly club race meetings and welcomes drivers of all ages โ children can practise from age 6 and race from 7, right through to members who are young at heart well into their seventies. With spectator areas and an on-site canteen on race days, it's both a serious home for competitive karting families and an easy place to come and watch grassroots motorsport in Perth's south.
