About Geraldton City Speedway
Geraldton City Speedway is a ~360-metre clay dirt oval at Moonyoonooka, on the Geraldton–Mt Magnet Road, and is the premier speedway track in Western Australia's Mid West. The club was founded in 1964 — originally as the Geraldton Hot Rod Club — making it one of the longest-running motorsport venues in regional WA. Today the speedway races a full card of classes including Formula 500s, Sprintcars, Supermods, Production Sedans, Junior Sedans and Street Stocks, attracting competitors and spectators from across a large geographic area. An on-site canteen operates during race meetings, and ample seating and facilities are provided for spectators. Membership and event nominations are managed through the club website.
