About Hi-Tec Oils Speedway
Hi-Tec Oils Speedway โ long known as Toowoomba Speedway โ is a 375-metre clay oval at Charlton on the western edge of Toowoomba, and one of Queensland's busiest dirt-track venues. It is primarily a spectator race venue: you come to watch the racing rather than drive, with ticketed race meetings running through the warmer months. The card is dominated by Sprintcars โ both 410 and 360-LS classes contest the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship (Queensland) here โ alongside a deep program of sedan and junior categories, so most meetings stack several classes into one night. Marquee events include the season-opening Thunder on the Downs and the summer Speedweek, which draw big fields and big crowds to the grandstands.
