About Ipswich Kart Club

Ipswich Kart Club is a membership-based karting club in the Ipswich Motorsport Precinct at Willowbank, and one of the largest and most respected kart clubs in Australia. Established in 1958 and affiliated with Karting Australia, it is a venue where members race their own karts rather than an arrive-and-drive hire track. The outdoor circuit is open for practice from Wednesday to Sunday (excluding public holidays, race days and come-and-try days), and the club runs regular club race meetings across junior and senior classes. With a strong junior-development focus and a welcoming, community-driven culture across all ages and skill levels, it is an excellent home base for competitive karting families in the Ipswich–Brisbane corridor — and the perfect place to get started in the sport via one of its come-and-try days.
