About Nunawading & District Motocross Club
Nunawading & District Motocross Club is a grassroots dirt-bike club in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, on Morack Road behind Bunnings next to the Whitehorse Recycling Station at Vermont South. A not-for-profit run entirely by volunteers for more than 50 years, it runs ride days on a single maintained track where riders bring their own bikes and sessions are split by age and bike size so everyone gets time on a track suited to them. The track suits all levels โ from beginners building skills through to experienced club racers โ and the friendly, community atmosphere makes newcomers welcome from their first visit.

Can I hire a bike, or do I bring my own?
Nunawading is a club for riders on their own bikes โ you bring your own motorcycle and gear. Sessions are split by age and bike size so riders share the track with others on similar machines.
Which days can I ride?
Ride days run on Saturdays and Sundays, plus Wednesday afternoons during daylight saving. Riding is subject to weather and permit approval, so check before you travel.
What does it cost?
Day ride fees are $30 for junior members, $40 for senior members and $60 for non-members. Annual, annual family and day-membership options are available.
Do I need a licence?
Yes. Riders must present proof of an appropriate licence at sign-in โ either a recreational or a competitive licence, purchased through Ridernet.
Is it suitable for kids and beginners?
Yes. Classes start at 50cc and the track suits all levels, from beginners developing their skills through to experienced club racers, in a friendly community atmosphere.
