About Tasmanian Motorcycle Tours and Rentals
Based at Forcett, about 15 minutes from Hobart Airport, Tasmanian Motorcycle Tours and Rentals (TMTR) offers two ways to ride the island: self-guided bike hire for riders who want to plan their own route, and self-guided tour packages that take the hard work out of organising a Tasmanian adventure. The hire fleet is built around BMW GS adventure models β from the lightweight G310GS up to the R1300GS and R1250GS β alongside Triumph Tiger 800 and CFMOTO MT machines, many fitted with Givi pannier luggage and heated grips. Tour packages run from a Long Weekender up to 12-day itineraries, and the operator can arrange airport pickup and drop-off, pre-programmed GPS units, luggage systems and accommodation booking so you can focus on the riding. Riders consistently praise the quality of the bikes and the smooth, well-organised handover.
