About Timmis Speedway
Timmis Speedway is Mildura's home of dirt-track speedway, run by the local speedway club on Deakin Avenue and racing since 1964. It is a spectator venue โ you come to watch door-to-door oval racing rather than to drive yourself โ and over a summer season the loose-surface oval hosts a broad mix of classes, from headline Sprintcars and Wingless Sprints down to Modified Sedans, Street Stocks, Speedcars, AMCA Nationals and Junior Sedans. The club is well regarded for its facilities and friendly atmosphere, and race nights are a long-running favourite for families across the Murray-Sunraysia region.
