Norwell Motorplex is a purpose-built motorsport facility near the Gold Coast, built around a 2.1km hot-mix bitumen circuit that can be run in either direction and has hosted everything from Formula 1 and Supercars to NASCAR and GT testing. The headline experience is the 6-lap V8 Supercar drive — getting behind the wheel of a Ford or Holden V8 Supercar prepared by genuine Supercar engineers and mechanics — but the centre is far more than a one-trick venue. It runs professional hot-lap ride-alongs, defensive driving and teen driver training, 4WD off-road sessions and skid-pan work, plus combination days like Norwell's Big Day Out.
