The Quarter Mile Drag Racing Experience is Perth's most extreme passenger motorsport event — and claims to be the only multi-seat drag race ride in the Southern Hemisphere. Operating at the Perth Motorplex at Kwinana Beach, the experience places you in a purpose-built 3-seat dragster (one of only six such vehicles in the world, manufactured in the USA) alongside a professional race driver with up to 30 years of drag racing experience. After meeting the crew, taking a complimentary photo, and a safety briefing with racing gear fitted, you experience a smoke-filled full-throttle burnout before launching down the quarter mile — hitting approximately 100 km/h in under two seconds with 2.7G of force. The season typically begins in September. Spectators are welcome free of charge.
