About Hidden Valley Raceway
Hidden Valley Raceway is the Northern Territory's premier motorsport circuit, about 10 km from central Darwin. Opened in 1986, the 2.87 km, 14-turn permanent road course is FIA Grade 3-rated and famous for its long 1.1 km main straight, which rewards top-end power and produces high speeds and fast lap times. It is best known as the home of the Supercars Championship's Darwin Triple Crown, run here since 1998, and the calendar also takes in the Porsche Carrera Cup, the Super2 Series and — newly added — the MXGP of Australia motocross world championship round and GT World Challenge Australia. The circuit is run by the Northern Australian Motor Sports Club (NAMSC).
