AutoKlene Hobart Raceway at Sorell Creek is one of southern Tasmania's main clay speedway ovals, set about 30 minutes west of Hobart on the Lyell Highway. Despite the "Raceway" name it is a dirt-oval speedway, not a sealed road circuit, and it is a spectator venue — you come to watch rather than to drive. The race calendar covers a strong spread of classes, with Sprintcars and Super Sedans typically the headline draws alongside Speedcars, Formula 500s, Modified Sedans, Street Stocks and Junior Sedans.
